  • Museum Service’s free webinars continue with Rebecca Elder Cultural Heritage Preservation. The next webinar is Hurricanes, Tornadoes and Earthquakes, Oh My: Creating Your Emergency Plan on April 19 at 10 a.m. (There is a link to click to register.)
     

  • The Texas Association of Museum’s annual conference is in Abilene this year, April 4-7. TAM is offering several scholarships to their conference. You can learn more about the conference and register here: http://www.texasmuseums.org/annual-meeting.html
     

  • Mark your calendars! This year’s American Association of State and Local History (AASLH) annual conference is in Austin, September 6-9. There are scholarships available this conference as well: http://about.aaslh.org/conference/. Registration begins in May.
