Center Union Community

Preliminary work has begun to secure an Undertold Story marker for the Center Union school building, now a community center, one of two sites encompassing the Center Union Community.

The A.M.E. Church, still active, sits on property adjacent to the Center Union Community Center. Nearby is an old, abandoned church building (center photo). The Center Union Community is located in a beautiful setting off Hwy 153, not far from the entrance to Buescher State Park.
